On October 5, 2025, the parish community witnessed the inauguration of the Missionary Children Association during the Sunday Holy Mass. The celebration was made special with the presence of Rev. Fr. Harry Dsouza, who joined as the guest of the day and was the main celebrant for the Mass. He was joined at the altar by our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’Silva and Rev. Fr. Ashok Dsouza, SVD, who together marked the joyous beginning of this initiative in our parish.

The Missionary Children Association aims to nurture children in their faith, encouraging them to grow with a missionary spirit, deepen their love for Jesus, and live as active witnesses in their families and community. On this occasion, 19 enthusiastic students enrolled as members, committing themselves to the mission of prayer, service, and spreading the Good News.

The inauguration was beautifully guided by the animators, Mrs. Lavina Cutinho and Mrs. Jyothi Gonsalves, who have taken the responsibility of accompanying the children in their spiritual journey. Following the Holy Mass, a special session was conducted by Rev. Fr. Harry Dsouza for the newly joined members. In his session, he inspired the children with words of encouragement and shared the importance of missionary values in their daily lives.

The programme concluded with a fellowship lunch at noon, creating a joyful moment of sharing and togetherness. It was truly a memorable day for the parish as we welcomed the youngest missionaries into the fold.
