The Commission for Education, Commission for Social Communication, and the Catholic Sabha Kokkada Unit jointly organized a special Teachers’ Day celebration at our Church on Sunday, September 7, 2024,  after the Holy Mass.

The program began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Saritha Strella, the immediate past president of the Catholic Sabha. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers of the parish for their dedication and service. Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’silva, our parish priest, delivered an inspiring speech appreciating the teachers’ invaluable role in nurturing students academically, morally, and spiritually. He highlighted the importance of teachers as guiding lights for the younger generation.

As a token of love and appreciation, mementos were presented to all the teachers of the parish. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Praveen Noel Montero, Head of the Commission for Education, who also serves as the Vice President of the Church.

The celebration was graced by Rev. Fr. Ashok D’Souza SVD, all commission heads including Mrs. Winnifred Clara D’souza, members of the Catholic Sabha, the Commission for Education, the Commission for Social Communication, and all the dedicated teachers of the parish.

The event reflected the parish community’s deep respect, gratitude, and admiration for teachers and their selfless service in shaping future generations.
