On October 7, 2024, at 4 PM, our church joyously welcomed Deacon Marwin Praveen Lobo. The reception began with our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D'silva, greeting Deacon Marwin at the church entrance. Following a solemn procession, the congregation entered the church where a meaningful prayer service was conducted by Rev. Fr. Anil. Deacon Marwin delivered the Word of God and Fr. Anil led the prayers of the faithful. 

During the stage event, Mr. Vincent Menezes served as the Master of Ceremonies, warmly welcoming the gathering. Vice President Mr. Praveen Noel Monteiro, 21 Pastoral Commissions Coordinator Mrs. Winifred D'souza and our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D'silva honored Deacon Marwin with a flower bouquet, symbolizing our community’s heartfelt welcome. The choir group created the celebratory atmosphere with a special welcoming song. 

Rev. Fr. Anil formally introduced Deacon Marwin to the parishioners, extending his best wishes for Deacon Marwin’s ministry. He assured Deacon Marwin’s parents of the parish’s support and care for their son as he embarks on this significant journey of faith. 

The event also saw the presence of Deacon Marwin’s family, including his parents, brother, sister, and a close friend, who accompanied him. The gathering included the Parish Council members, Ward heads, Catholic Sabha members, Women Forum members, ICYM members, Choir Group members, and Altar Servers, all contributing to the warmth and success of the event.
