The faithful of our parish prayerfully participated in the Annual Parish Retreat held from March 10 to March 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM each evening. The three-day spiritual gathering served as a meaningful time of prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal for the parish community.
The retreat was preached by Rev. Fr. Lancy Rebello, who delivered inspiring and thought-provoking sermons encouraging the faithful to strengthen their relationship with God and live a deeper Christian life. His messages focused on repentance, faith, forgiveness, and spiritual transformation, guiding the participants toward a renewed commitment to their faith.
The retreat included several important spiritual activities such as preaching, Eucharistic adoration, the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, and the Sacrament of Confession. A special opportunity for confession was arranged on March 11, enabling parishioners to seek reconciliation and spiritual healing.
The liturgical services were prayerfully animated by the choir led by Deacon Wilfred Steevan Rodrigues, whose devotional hymns helped create a deeply spiritual and reflective atmosphere throughout the retreat. A large number of parishioners participated actively in the retreat each day, joining together in prayer and receiving spiritual blessings.
The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D'Silva, also took part in the retreat and supported the spiritual programmes. On the final day, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the retreat preacher, the choir members, and all those who helped organize the retreat, as well as the parishioners who attended with great devotion.
The retreat concluded with thanksgiving, leaving the faithful spiritually refreshed and strengthened in their faith.
