Our parish celebrated its Annual Feast with deep faith and grandeur on 11-02-2026. The celebration began at 10:00 a.m. with the distribution of candles to the sponsors, symbolizing prayerful thanksgiving and unity. At 10:15 a.m., the solemn Holy Mass commenced in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, drawing a large gathering of parishioners, guests, and well-wishers.

Most Rev. Fr. J.P. Saldanha, Priest of St. Francis Xavier Church, Bejai, PRO of Mangalore diocese was the main celebrant for the festive Eucharistic celebration. Our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’Silva, also concelebrated the Holy Mass.

The solemn liturgy was marked by prayerful participation and devotion. In his homily, the main celebrant emphasized faith, unity, and the importance of serving the Church community with dedication and love.  At the end of the Mass, Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’Silva expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the priests who graciously accepted the invitation and took part in the celebration. He introduced each of them to the faithful and acknowledged their presence with appreciation. He also thanked all parish associations, their members, and parishioners whose tireless efforts contributed to the success of the feast. Special mention was made of those who consistently serve the Church in various capacities whenever needed.

On this joyous occasion, Rev. Fr. Lawrence Mascarenhas, Vicar Forane of Puttur Deanery, felicitated our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’silva and Deacon Wilfred Stevan Rodrigues in recognition of their dedicated service to the parish.

Following the Eucharistic celebration, the festive spirit continued as Catholic Sabha, Kokkada, and the ICYM Kokkada Unit organized various stalls that engaged the gathering and added color to the occasion. The Morning Star Brass Band, Vijayadka, sponsored by Mr. Alwyn Pinto, enriched the celebration with vibrant music, enhancing the joyful atmosphere of the feast.

Adding to the festive spirit, parishioner Mr. Melvin D’Souza delighted everyone by dressing up as a cartoon character and cheerfully engaging with children and families, bringing smiles and laughter to the celebration.

The Annual Feast was truly a memorable and grace-filled event, strengthening the bonds of faith, fellowship, and community among all who participated.
