On May 12, 2024, after the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass, parishioners gathered to bid a heartfelt farewell to Rev. Fr. Jagadish Pinto, who completed six years of dedicated service to our parish. The farewell function was hosted by Shanthi Priya D'Souza, who ensured the event was a fitting tribute to Fr. Jagadish's remarkable tenure. 

The ceremony began with a warm welcome speech by Praveen Noel Monteiro, setting the tone for the emotional and reflective event. Parishioners Vincent Menezes and Winnifred Clara D'Souza expressed their appreciation for Fr. Jagadish's spiritual guidance, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the community. Their speeches highlighted the many contributions he made during his time with us, emphasizing the positive impact he had on countless lives. 

Following the speeches, Fr. Jagadish was felicitated by the parishioners, who presented him with tokens of appreciation and heartfelt messages of gratitude. The gesture symbolized the deep respect and affection the community holds for him.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Veena Mascarenhas, who expressed gratitude to everyone involved in organizing the farewell and to Fr. Jagadish for his years of service. The ceremony was a poignant reminder of the strong bonds formed within our parish community and the lasting legacy of Fr. Jagadish Pinto’s pastoral care.
