On 15 March 2026, the election for the new office bearers of the Catholic Sabha for the year 2026–2027 was held at the parish.

Following the Sunday Holy Mass, members of the Catholic Sabha gathered in the church hall to participate in the election process. The Programme began with a prayer seeking God’s blessings for the smooth conduct of the proceedings. Secretary Babitha D’Souza read a passage from the Holy Bible.

President Sylvester D’Souza welcomed the gathering and introduced the members of the election committee who had come to conduct the election. The election was carried out under the supervision of the deanery election committee in an orderly and transparent manner.

The election committee members were Mr. Lancy Mascarenhas, Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) Puttur Deanery Ex-President; Mrs. Leena Machado, Treasurer of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) Puttur Deanery; Mrs. Nisha Menezes, Women’s Welfare Coordinator of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) Puttur Deanery; and Mr. Jerald Mascarenhas, President of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) Puttur Deanery.

After the voting process, the following members were elected as office bearers for the year 2026–2027: President – Sylvester D’Souza; Vice President – Marcel D’Souza; Secretary – Babitha D’Souza; Joint Secretary – Nimmy Chacko; Treasurer – Raymond Galbao; Amcho Sandesh Representative – Apolin Martis; Women’s Welfare Coordinator – Felcy Vegas; Youth Welfare Coordinator – Chaithra D’Souza; Political Coordinator – Walter Prabhu; Community Development Coordinator – Inas D’Souza; Immediate Past President – Sushma Sarita Strella.

At the end of the Programme, Mr. Raymond Galbao proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the election committee and all members who actively participated. The gathering concluded with tea and snacks served to all the attendees.
