Mission Sunday was joyfully celebrated on October 19, 2025, at the parish, emphasizing prayer, charity, and support for the Catholic Church’s missionary work worldwide. The day reminded parishioners of their responsibility to help spread the Gospel and support missionary efforts spiritually and financially.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’silva and Rev. Fr. Ashok D’Souza. During the Mass, a special offering was collected from the congregation to contribute to global missionary initiatives. Parishioners participated with great devotion and generosity, reflecting the true spirit of Mission Sunday and the Church’s mission of service.
Following the Mass, various parish associations organized food stalls to raise additional funds for the cause. The YCS Unit offered fish curry, boiled potatoes, and juice, while the Missionary Children Association sold pani puri and masala puri. The stalls created a lively and festive atmosphere, bringing the community together and encouraging fellowship among parishioners of all ages.
All proceeds from the offerings and food sales were contributed to Mission Sunday, supporting the Church’s missionary activities worldwide. The celebration highlighted the unity, faith, and charitable spirit of the parish, encouraging parishioners to continue their support for missions and fostering a sense of responsibility toward spreading the Gospel and serving humanity.
