On Sunday, August 24, 2025, celebrated Youth Day with a special focus on empowering young parishioners through a self-employment information camp. The event brought together resource persons, church leaders, and enthusiastic youth to inspire self-reliance and skill development.
The program began with an opening prayer, followed by a warm welcome from Ritesh M. Strell. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’silva inaugurated the celebration, encouraging the youth to dream big, develop their talents, and make the best use of available opportunities for a brighter future.
A keynote session was conducted by Mr. Abraham James P.V, Principal of the RUDSET Institute, Ujire, who shared valuable insights on various self-employment avenues. He motivated the youth to enhance their skills, embrace innovation, and work towards financial independence.
On the dais were parish vice president Mr. Praveen Noel Monteiro, secretary Mrs. Veena Mascarenhas, and all commission head Mrs. Winifred D’souza, who extended their support and appreciation to the youth for their active participation. The celebration also included a felicitation ceremony honoring the dedicated youth of the parish.
The program was compered by Mrs. Jesinta D’souza and Mr. Prajwal Lobo, with Ms. Preethi Maria leading the gathering in prayer. Appreciation was also expressed to Rev. Fr. Ashok D’souza, Mr. Maurice D’Souza, Mr. Vincent Menezes, Mr. Vincent Suvaris, and Mrs. Deepa V for their valuable contributions in making the event a success.”
