On 31 December 2025, our parish reverently welcomed the New Year with a solemn New Year Mass, bringing together the faithful in prayer, gratitude, and hope. The spiritual celebration began at 7:00 p.m. with Eucharistic Adoration, creating a prayerful atmosphere for reflection and thanksgiving as the year came to a close.
The Holy Mass followed the Adoration and was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ashwin Lohith Cardoza, Director of ICYM, who graced the occasion as the main celebrant. He was joined by Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’Silva, Parish Priest, as co-celebrant. Their presence and guidance enriched the liturgy and strengthened the spiritual significance of the celebration.
During the Holy Mass, a meaningful moment was marked with the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected members of the Parish Pastoral Parishad. The members solemnly pledged their commitment to serve the parish with dedication, responsibility, and faith, seeking God’s guidance in their mission for the coming term. The parish community warmly welcomed the new council and assured them of prayerful support.
In his message, the celebrant encouraged the faithful to enter the New Year with renewed faith, unity, and trust in God’s providence, emphasizing service, humility, and active participation in parish life.
After the conclusion of the Mass, refreshments were served to all attendees, providing an opportunity for fellowship and joyful interaction among parishioners.
The New Year celebration concluded on a note of gratitude and hope, as the parish entrusted the year ahead to God’s loving care.
